Design Museum Mornings: Innovating Wellness @ Work
How can you increase the resiliency and efficiency of your company?
Working well requires you to be well. Creating a workplace culture with a reverence for failure is the first step towards developing a team that can deal with the rapid iterative cycles of the agile development process. In order to recover from failures, your team needs the ability to trust one another; and quality of your team is only as good as the experiences they’ve had together. Join Meg Dryer, VP of Consumer Experience at Cambia, to explore what it means to be well at work, and strategies you can immediately apply to your own team.
Meg Dryer, VP of Consumer Experience, Cambia Health Solutions
Prior to Cambia, Meg worked as a Global Design Director in both workplace design and product at Nike. Before Nike, Meg spent the bulk of her career at IDEO, leading innovation and experience design projects across a wide variety of industries. She’s designed car museums, loyalty programs for high rollers, online learning platforms, and new retail experiences. A graduate of both Stanford University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Meg has also lectured at Stanford’s d.school, teaching design thinking, organizational design and behavior change. Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys anywhere in nature. She also loves teaching yoga.
Chera Justice, Wellness Program Coordinator, Cambia Health Solutions
Chera is passionate about wellness in all forms. While obtaining her BA in Behavioral Studies at the University of Oregon, Chera went abroad during a Semester at Sea (SAS). ” I saw for the first time in my life, real poverty, real malnourishment, and it brought me to a deep place of darkness, forcing myself to reevaluate the purpose of it all. I came back to Oregon, and decided to switch the game up.” At Indiana University, Chera obtained a Masters in Public Health and a MS in Applied Health Science. She now leads the way for wellness at Cambia Health Solutions.
Join us the morning of November 30th at Cambia Health Solutions to learn how to build a healthier, happier workplace and team.
$10 tickets in advance, $15 at the door. This is a cash-free event. Doors open at 8:30 am, presentation begins at 9:00 am. Breakfast will be served.
