Architects in Schools Call for Volunteers!

We’re proud to share the following post, submitted to us by the Architecture Foundation of Oregon:

Inspire elementary school students to examine and learn about the built environment through the Architecture Foundation of Oregon’s Architects in Schools (AiS) program. AiS matches professional architects and other design professionals with primarily 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers for a 6-week classroom residency (approximately 1-2 hours a week per class), offered free of charge to schools. Design professionals volunteer their time because sharing their passion for architecture with students energizes them. Teachers continuously say AiS has a tremendous impact on their students. With AiS growing exponentially each year, the demand for design professionals continues to rise. The Architecture Foundation of Oregon invites you to be part of Architects in Schools, impacting over 3,800 students in Oregon each year.
